Noted for combining evocative prose with solid reporting, Liza has developed a unique tone that has earned her a place among Canada's top journalists. Formerly the managing editor of Flare magazine, she now contributes articles to some of the country's most notable and well-read publications, including Flare, Fashion, Today's Parent, the Globe & Mail and Style at Home magazine. She also writes for Australia's Green magazine. An adaptable author, she has contributed to online publications such as microsofthome.com and ellecanada.com. Liza also served as editor of Outpost Magazine, an adventure- and eco-travel publication. She has won awards of merit for her health and service writing and now coaches new writers.

Liza holds a journalism degree from Ryerson University and is currently completing a master's of psychology degree. She lives in Toronto with her husband, two sons and two dogs.
